Stewart R. Rust, B.Sc., D.Clin.Psych, PGDip, is a Consultant Paediatric Neuropsychologist working in Neurology and Metabolic conditions at the Department of Paediatric Psychosocial Services at Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, United Kingdom. Dr Rust received his doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of Manchester and his postgraduate diploma in paediatric clinical neuropsychology from Nottingham University, United Kingdom.

He is a chartered psychologist and an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society as well as a Health Professions Council registrant. Dr Rust has worked for the National Health Service for 24 years, with experience in metabolic conditions and the challenges they present for children and families. His clinical and research interests include neuropsychological assessment as well as wider psychosocial factors affecting children, young people, and families coping with metabolic conditions. Dr Rust is a regular research contributor to the Willink Metabolic Unit in Manchester and is a co-author of From Timid to Tiger: A Treatment Manual for Parenting the Anxious Child.
